This is Vai Vencer
This is Vai Vencer, a project dedicated to reducing food waste and supporting vulnerable families.

About Us
Founded in São Paulo, Brazil, in 2022 by high school student Bruna Schwartzman Lucio, Vai Vencer is dedicated to reducing food waste and supporting vulnerable communities. We collect high-quality industrialized food products from reputable food factories that are under their half-shelf life and would otherwise be discarded. These items are then donated to partner institutions, which either distribute them directly to families, serve them as meals, or sell them at affordable prices to those in need. The revenue generated helps fund the institutions' charitable efforts, creating a cycle of support and sustainability.
Mission
At Vai Vencer, we are dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity in our community while addressing the issue of food waste.
Our name, which means both 'will expire' and 'we will win' in Portuguese, reflects our mission to overcome these challenges.

An overall help to society

Most markets do not accept food items that are under half their shelf-life. These, are often discarded, resulting in undesirable costs to food companies. By donating food items, companies can reduce waste, and costs and engage in broader charitable causes.

By donating food items under half shelf-life to partner institutions, lower-income families can receive or buy quality products at lower prices

If items are sold, revenue is reverted to the partner institution's cause.
